A new series of dramatic contemporary Peak District landscape art available to buy online now in my Folksy shop. These expressive black and white monochrome Conté crayon drawings are A4 in size (210 x 297mm) and look great displayed in a simple mount and frame. Choose just one or hang a few together for impact!
These two original Peak District landscape paintings were inspired by the autumn colours at White Tor and Derwent Edge above Ladybower Reservoir, near Bamford in Derbyshire.
I created these affordable Peak District landscapes using ink and conte crayon on 300gsm smooth watercolour paper. Measuring A3 (297 x 420mm) they can be easily framed yourself in a standard sized frame, or framed professionally for a more personal look. A lovely gift for UK walkers and hikers or for anyone with connections in the Peak District.
For sale at £90 each, unframed (including free UK shipping) from my Folksy shop.
MORE INFO This ORIGINAL is SOLD but there’s lots more Peak District art and prints for sale in my Folksy shop.
Sand and rock softly crunching underfoot, the path cuts through brittle, fragrant heather towards the distant outcrop. You clamber up and over the rough cold stone, squeeze through gaps, up, up to the top. Amongst the gnarled birch trees, weathered by wind and rain, you put one foot in front of the other until your toes touch the edge and you stop. And you inhale. And you breathe in the distant views.
Here’s a small selection of some of the Peak District inspired original landscape paintings available for sale in my online shop. These colourful little paintings are all approximately A6 in size (105x148mm or 4.1×5.8″) and look great displayed in a simple mount and frame. I can mount them for you – just select the mount option at checkout. Choose just one or hang a few together to really brighten up a dreary corner! Larger work and prints are available too, please have a browse!
I have been drawing a lot of trees lately, inspired by the woods and trees near where I live. I’m working on few things which I’m hoping to enter into Art in the Gardens in Sheffield later in the year. I’m also in the middle of various commissions and potty training my 2 year old. One of these things is going much less successfully than the others. If anyone has a simple formula for potty training, that would be appreciated too.
