Dark clouds and summer rain storm over a Peak District moorland landscape. A red grouse has just been disturbed from its resting place and pops up from the heather with a loud flap-flap-flap of its wings and an unmistakable whirring croak “goback-goback-goback”.
Original digital painting by Sian Vernon.
I’m having fun making these ‘paintings’ with the iPad. I used to paint a lot with acrylic but I just don’t have the space or time to do it at the moment, so this is really allowing me to play and produce something with a similar looking end-result. I hope you enjoy seeing them.
